Training Recovery Formula is a two-in-one energy and recovery drink with 2:1 carbydrate to protein ratio. This makes it suitable for use during (energy source) and after (recovery) endurance performance and intensive training sessions.

Training Recovery Formula is a complex of carbohydrates, proteins, amino acids, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins and minerals for long lasting energy, endurance, stamina and fast recovery.

 

Complex mixed chain carbohydrates provide high and even levels of energy. Proteins are needed for muscle protection and repair. B-vitamins participate in amino acid metabolism and energy production and play many important roles in the body. Vitamin D acts directly on muscles to increase protein synthesis.

2. Growth or maintenance of muscle mass: a cause and effect relationship has been established between the dietary intake of protein and the growth or maintenance of muscle mass.

Carbohydrate-electrolytes and endurance performance Carbohydrates and electrolytes combined in TRF 2:1 Training - Recovery Formula provide energy to maintain energy levels during endurance exercise. The carbohydrates in TRF 2:1 Training - Recovery Formula are a mix of fructose, dextrose and maltodextrin which provide a high glycaemic response. TRF 2:1 Training - Recovery Formula delivers 51.5 carbohydrates per 1000ml accounting for 206 kcal/L of which 80% are carbohydrates that induce a high glycaemic response. In addition TRF 2:1 Training - Recovery Formula contains 1000 mg/L of sodium. The values for both the carbohydrates and sodium are conform the EFSA scientific opinion on carbohydrate-electrolyte solutions in relation to the beneficial effect on the maintenance on endurance performance. EFSA scientific opinion: The Panel concludes that a cause and effect relationship has been established between the consumption of carbohydrate-electrolyte solutions and maintenance of endurance performance. The Panel considers that in order to bear the claim a carbohydrate-electrolyte solution should contain: 1. 80-350 kcal/L from carbohydrates, and at least 75 % of the energy should be derived from carbohydrates, which induce a high glycemic response, such as glucose, glucose polymers and sucrose. 2. In addition, these beverages should contain between 20 mmol/L (460 mg/L) and 50 mmol/L (1,150 mg/L) of sodium, and have an osmolality between 200-330 mOsm/kg water. The target population is active individuals performing endurance exercise. Creatine Creatine allows you to push harder and longer in power training. TRF 2:1 Training - Recovery Formula contains 7.5g per 1000g. A serving of 50g of TRF 2:1 Training - Recovery Formula provides 0.375g of creatine. In order to obtain the claimed effect, 3 g of creatine should be consumed daily. EFSA scientific opinion: On the basis of the data presented, the Panel concludes that a cause and effect relationship has been established between the consumption of creatine and an increase in physical performance during short-term, high intensity, repeated exercise bouts. The Panel considers that in order to obtain the claimed effect, 3 g of creatine should be consumed daily. The target population is adults performing high-intensity exercise.
